​With old landscape tie retaining walls decaying on this steeply sloped back yard and with the lower half of the yard essentially unusable due to the very steep grades, our design solution was to retain in key areas to level out the lower yard and make maximum use of all the available space

Parterre gardens are designed to be viewed from above and the french formal style serves as the ideal backdrop from the home's extensive entertainment deck.  

The water tables overhang and are embedded into the retaining wall and the fountains can be remote controlled from the upper deck. Ring lights in each fountain provide evening ambiance
