Innovative Front Yard Planting
Re-imagining usable land
This client's crow damaged front lawn was removed and replaced with an arrangement better suited to the space and taste of the homeowner. We proposed a composition that would compliment and enhance the natural slope and create a "block planting" scheme featuring ornamental grasses - a client favourite - to be arranged in a way which would highlight texture, color and movement.
During the transformation process an old tree in front of the entry area was removed, the original brick planter was rehabilitated and cleaned, and a land "bench" to host a horizontal feature tree was coaxed from the natural slope with some minor re-grading. The result surpassed the client's expectations by far!
